Chefs for Change is a fast growing community on Facebook.​

Be Better Founder, Mike Matarazzo is a Chef by trade and started Chefs for Change in order to create an environment where former and current Chefs and cooks can have meaningful discussions pertaining to our profession.

​

It's a space where much needed conversations begin.  Topics covered include Leadership, Life Balance, Mental Health, Self Care, and other issues that contribute to the current narrative of the "Chef Life."  It is a place where Chefs can break the stigma of silence and speak freely and safely about their challenges without fear of judgement or ridicule.

Matarazzo feels strongly about the need for change in the hospitality industry culture and believes that the conversations being had in the Chefs for Change Group will prove to be an effective start to a necessary journey.
